The 2024 Mexican Grand Prix delivered on all fronts. Carlos Sainz amassed the victory but one of the other major talking points coming away from the event has been title rivals Max Verstappen and Lando Norris‘ insane battle.

During the early moments of the race, the two got tangled up in a fierce on-track fight that even went off the track. Going into a certain section of the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit, Max Verstappen pushed Lando Norris off-track in which, the latter was forced into taking evasive action.

Charles Leclerc pleased with Ferrari ‘winning two races in a row’

Post the 71-lap event, Leclerc was very pleased with the efforts of the whole team.

A good weekend for the team, of course, a little bit disappointing on my side as I thought there was more to do, but it’s the way it is. I mean FP1 obviously, no running for me, FP2 then I was left playing catch-up for the whole weekend, and I never really felt at ease with the car. Carlos has done an incredible job, so it’s great to be winning, twice, two races in a row.

The 2024 F1 season has proved to be nothing short of a mega rollercoaster. Ferrari has picked up the pace after two consecutive wins and going into the last four races, they are the favorites to lift the constructors championship.

Red Bull is pretty much out of the running with the lackluster RB20 and Sergio Perez‘s horrendous form. Keeping in view everything that has been discussed, the last few Grand Prix will prove to be an extremely fascinating watch.
