McLaren’s Lando Norris produced an extremely dominant display at the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix. He bashed Red Bull’s Max Verstappen by an insane margin of over 20 seconds but despite this, Red Bull is not willing to throw in the towel just yet.
Christian Horner has made it known that his team achieved the maximum it could have done in the grueling 62-lap race. Max Verstappen‘s second place has brought home solid points and the whole outfit is optimistic heading into the remaining six races of the campaign.

As things stand, Verstappen still has a lead of 52 points over Lando Norris in the drivers’ championship.
P2 and a return to the podium for Max Verstappen was the absolute maximum we could get out of it today, with Checo rounding out the points in P10. We take the points and go into the next three weeks to do all we can to bring performance to the car. With six races to go, everything is still to play for.Christian Horner via Instagram
Horner is quite pleased with the points hall Verstappen and Sergio Perez amassed for Red Bull in Singapore. However, he has stressed the importance of the ongoing three-week break until the US GP. The Milton-Keynes-based team is determined to bring additional performance to the RB20.
Max Verstappen insists Red Bull will ‘come back stronger’
While Christian Horner has a positive outlook toward the future, the same is the case with Max Verstappen. The Dutchman has the utmost faith in the abilities of the personnel at Red Bull to turn the tough situation around.

Since the end of the summer break, the RB20 has proved extremely inconsistent.
Maximized our result with P2 under tough conditions. A few things to work on during the break, we’ll keep pushing and come back stronger.Max Verstappen via Instagram
As indicated earlier, the 2024 F1 season has only six races remaining on the calendar. After the ongoing break, the extravaganza will move to the Circuit of the Americas for the US GP. This event will give a fair representation of where Red Bull would be in comparison to rivals. Especially considering that they will come to the event having done their homework with the RB20.
