The Brazilian GP contained a lot of controversial scenarios regarding the timing of the red flags and the safety car during incidents. FIA faced a lot of backlash over these situations which put Max Verstappen at a disadvantage. Hence, following the weekend, Ex-F1 team owner Eddie Jordan reckoned that Lando Norris can’t win even with the support of ‘gods’.

The rain-laden weekend of the Brazilian GP caused a lot of Red Flags and Safety cars throughout the multiple sessions. During the Qualifying, Max Verstappen was disallowed to finish his final fast lap during the Q3 session due to an ill-timed Red Flag. As a result, Eddie Jordan believed that the ill-timed Red Flags and Safety Cars were a bit fishy.

Eddie Jordan claimed that the ‘gods’ were siding with Norris in the championship battle. The metaphorical gods wanted the British driver to win the championship according to Jordan. However, the 25-year-old is highly unlikely to win the championship as Verstappen ‘outfoxed’ everyone on the grid. Hence, the 27-year-old is all set to win his fourth consecutive championship this season.

You know the Gods are in Lando’s hands. They want Lando to win this championship, but he’s not going to, because Max has outfoxed them. That’s it.

Eddie Jordan asserted that the Race Director ‘fu**ed up’ at the Brazilian GP

The Race Director Niels Wittich who has reportedly been sacked from Formula 1 had a role in the controversies created. Eddie Jordan wasn’t mincing his words while talking against the timings of the flags that helped Norris. Jordan noted that the Red Flag was ‘wrong’ and a mistake from the Director. Subsequently, the Irishmen highlighted that the Race Director ‘fu**ed up’ the timings of the flags.

The red flag was wrong, It was a mistake. He went and f***ed up didn’t he.

Eddie Jordan added

Lando Norris has extremely slim chances of winning the championship in the three remaining races. Max Verstappen has kept up with performances throughout the season and proved why he deserves the championship. On the contrary, Norris has a lot to learn in terms of racing in order to topple the reigning world champion from the top.
