Max Verstappen bounced back from a difficult start to the Brazilian GP weekend. The Dutch driver got unlucky in Qualifying after a late red flag. However, the three-time world champion pulled off an amazing drive as he went on to win the race from P17 on the grid. Now, former F1 team boss Eddie Jordan has applauded Verstappen’s efforts.
The Red Bull driver made his way up to the front of the pack in challenging wet weather conditions. Max Verstappen seemed to be in a league of his own as he won the race with an enormous lead of 19 seconds to second-placed Esteban Ocon.
Eddie Jordan claimed that he was simply speechless after seeing Verstappen’s stellar performance at Interlagos. The Irishman labeled it as the best F1 race he had ever seen. Jordan pointed out that Max Verstappen’s drive was the best example of having complete control over the car in tricky conditions.

With victory at Interlagos, Max Verstappen’s lead to Lando Norris stretches to 62 points with just three races to go. The Dutch driver can even be crowned the 2024 world champion in Las Vegas. Eddie Jordan reckoned that the 27-year-old’s masterclass drive showed that he was a four-time F1 champion, racing at the peak of his career.
Certainly, Verstappen’s drive has impressed the entire F1 paddock. The reigning world champion has silenced all critics amidst tensions over his recent performance. Now, the Red Bull star will be looking to bring home his fourth consecutive world championship at the next race in Las Vegas.
