The 2024 United States GP weekend has taken over the fans all over the globe. They are eagerly awaiting for the on-track action to kick off and while they are somehow managing to hold onto their horses, the celebrity hot laps have been in full swing around COTA. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen recently took the renowned ESPN anchor Elle Duncan on a hot lap around the 5.513 km track.
The thrill of hot laps especially with the F1 drivers is unreal and the same was the case with Elle Duncan. She was extremely upbeat after getting out of the car and sharing her experience of doing a lap with Max Verstappen around the iconic COTA.
The duo’s hilarious conversation went like this.
Looking at the reaction of Duncan, she has left no stone unturned in explaining her surreal experience going around COTA with Verstappen. The duo had great fun on the track and the former is surely not going to get over her experience anytime soon.
Sergio Perez eyeing to get back the ‘momentum’ at COTA
The Red Bull drivers have not had the best times on track this year. Max Verstappen has started facing huge issues since the start of the second half, whereas Sergio Perez has been on a torrid run for a longer period.
Ahead of the upcoming event, Perez insisted that he and the Red Bull outfit are focused on getting their lost momentum back.
Red Bull is currently 41 points adrift of the Woking-based McLaren in the constructors’ championship. The RB20 has proved second best against the papaya’s ever-improving MCL38.
Keeping in view everything that has been discussed, the remaining six races are immensely crucial for the Milton-Keynes-based team. Verstappen will go all-out in defending his driver’s championship lead against Lando Norris. Perez on his end, will have to do his best in helping his team make a serious case for the constructors’ title.
