The former world champion asserted that there was immense excitement over the 40-year-old’s first season at Maranello. So much so, that Emerson Fittipaldi claimed that all of Italy will stop to witness Lewis Hamilton race for Ferrari at the pinnacle of motorsport.

Every driver dreams of driving for Ferrari, and this challenge motivates Lewis… There’s so much excitement. You can already imagine Lewis in Ferrari this year. All of Italy will stop on Sunday to see Hamilton drive the Red.

Lewis Hamilton set for ‘exciting’ 2025 season

The Formula 1 grid has never been closer with four teams winning races consistently last year. Fittipaldi couldn’t wait for the 2025 season to commence. He mentioned that it will be an exciting year for Lewis Hamilton, who can potentially fight for race wins for Ferrari in a tightly-packed pecking order. Hamilton does intend to claim his eighth world title during his stint at Maranello.

I can’t wait to watch the next season. It should be very exciting for Lewis, with a Formula 1 that is becoming extremely competitive.

Emerson Fittipaldi added

High expectations are laid on Hamilton and Ferrari. This historic partnership must live up to the high stakes or risk facing backlash from the Tifosi. It remains to be seen if the seven-time world champion can regain his form after a difficult couple of seasons back at Brackley.
