Max Verstappen has been dominating the F1 world since his first world championship win in 2021. Moreover, his mighty reign does not seem to stop anytime soon due to the rocket ships being prepared by Red Bull and Adrian Newey. Seeing the might of Dutchman in the paddock, former F1 driver Karun Chandhok has claimed that Verstappen’s dominance ends soon.
Max Verstappen spent several years in inferior machinery when he joined the F1 grid in 2015. At that time, Mercedes used to reign in the championship and were in a league of their own. However, after years of struggles, the Red Bull camp got back on top with the help of the 26-year-old in the 2021 season, and the cycle of their dominance began in F1.
Imagine if we had Lewis at Ferrari, Max going to Mercedes and Adrian Newey going to Aston Martin with Fernando Alonso…. Fans dream!!

Just the shake up F1 would need to break the current dominant cycle….
Subsequently, Sky Sports commentator and F1 analyst Karun Chandhok claimed that this cycle of dominance should be broken soon.
Because at least when Merc were dominating, we had the Nico vs Lewis battle & then Ferrari challenged in 2017 / 18… I can’t recall a single driver dominating for 3 consecutive years to this level - the Schumacher dominance in 2002/2004 was broken up by a brilliant 2003 season.Karun Chandhok wrote on X,

The Indian substantiated his previous tweet by explaining that during the era of Mercedes’ dominance, there was an intra-team battle between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. Later, when the German retired, Mercedes received tough competition from Ferrari in 2017-18.
Moreover, he pointed out that there has been not a single run of this type of domination even in the past, as even Michael Schumacher and Ferrari had a battle to fight against Kimi Raikkonen and McLaren. Thus, a significant shake-up is required to increase the competitiveness of the grid.
Max Verstappen claims the situation is now under control at Red Bull
Mayhem broke loose in Milton Keynes when it was revealed that Red Bull supremo Christian Horner was accused for behaving inappropriately with a colleague. This led to rumors sparking up in the paddock regarding key personnel leaving the team, including the Dutchman, after the conclusion of the 2024 season.
The 26-year-old elaborated that for him, the team must be focused on extracting performance than from shenanigans going on inside the team. Moreover, he revealed that a calm environment has now enveloped the team in comparison to the start of the season.
Since then, a sense of calmness has enveloped the team, and the reigning champion has revealed why a peaceful environment is important for him.
For me it is very important that calm reigns in the team and that everyone concentrates on the single-seater and on the performances. Now, I feel that the situation is calmer than at the beginning of the season. After my first world title, I signed a long contract with Red Bull for a reason. All I want is a calm and peaceful environment.Max Verstappen said in an interview with Formula Passion
Subsequently, the triple-champion stated that there was no reason to leave Red Bull according to him, despite interest from other camps. However, there is still a long way before the conclusion of the current season so, a change in other key personnel is entirely possible.
