Max Verstappen, the man, the myth, the legend!! The Dutchman amassed a fourth world championship at the recent 2024 Las Vegas GP and since then, he has been the driver everyone has been talking about.

Several esteemed personalities have already had their say and Fernando Alonso has even deemed Max Verstappen’s four Red Bull titles more valuable than Sebastian Vettels. The German also amassed four titles with the Austrian outfit between 2010-2013.

During the ongoing 2024 F1 season, Verstappen has had to absorb immense pressure. He has, for a change, not had the fastest car, but despite this, the 27-year-old has managed to amass a well-deserved fourth world championship. McLaren’s Lando Norris posed a solid challenge, but in the end, it was the Dutchman who managed to come out triumphant.

Charles Leclerc showers praise on Max Verstappen following title triumph

While Fernando Alonso has played down Sebastian Vettel’s Red Bull titles in comparison to Max Verstappen, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc has also come forward to praise Verstappen. Both Leclerc and the Dutchman are seen by many as one of the best drivers on the modern F1 grid.

First of all, a huge congrats to Max Verstappen for his 4th title, fully deserved.
Now only 2 races to go, got to maximise everything on my side to try and take that P2 in the drivers championship and the constructors title. Let’s goooo!!

Leclerc via his comments, has killed two birds with one stone. On one hand, he has applauded Verstappen, whereas on the other, he has fired warning shots toward Norris. The Monegasque is only 21 points behind Norris in the drivers’ standings with two races remaining.

Moreover, the Maranello-based Ferrari F1 team is also in the hunt for the 2024 Constructors’ Championship against the Woking-based McLaren. From Verstappen’s perspective, the remaining races will be about doing the best possible job and hopefully amassing two more victories. Red Bull is pretty much out of contention in the Constructors’ tussle.
