Lewis Hamilton is statistically the most successful driver in Formula 1. The 39-year-old has raced in the sport since 2007 without taking a single break. Now, Hamilton’s future team boss Fred Vasseur has praised the Briton’s incredible work ethic as an F1 driver.
The Ferrari boss claimed that Hamilton is nothing short of a machine in Formula 1. Fred Vasseur highlighted the main difference between the 39-year-old and the rest of the grid. Vasseur noted that Lewis Hamilton is organized like a company, something that lacks in other drivers.
Lewis is a machine. The main difference between Lewis and the majority of the grid – and I don’t want to make a personal comparison – is that he is organized like a company.
Fred Vasseur told The Times
The Frenchman pointed out that the seven-time world champion has a clear approach, where he can separate every aspect of an activity. Fred Vasseur claimed that this would certainly come in handy for Ferrari when Hamilton joins the Italian squad next season.
In his mind, in his approach, he knows what he wants to do, when he wants to do it. He’s able to separate every single pillar of the activity and for us, for Ferrari, it will be helpful.

Fred Vasseur insists Lewis Hamilton’s arrival won’t change Ferrari ‘internally’
Scuderia Ferrari is known for its own culture within the F1 paddock. Vasseur reckoned that Lewis Hamilton’s arrival won’t change the team’s internal workings. Although, the Briton will be bringing his own viewpoint and experience to Maranello. Moreover, the Frenchman emphasized that he would also benefit from Hamilton. As the two share a great relationship tracing back to the 39-year-old’s time in junior categories.

Internally, it won’t change life except that Lewis is coming with his own experience, his own maturity. I knew Lewis when he was not a champion and we built up a different relationship, I think. This will be helpful for me.
Fred Vasseur explained
Certainly, Ferrari bagged a major win in F1 by signing Lewis Hamilton for 2025. The seven-time world champion will share valuable inputs that could end Maranello’s long win drought at the pinnacle of motorsport. However, it remains to be seen how things pan out for Hamilton at the Scuderia next season.
