Mercedes secured a spectacular 1-2 finish at the Las Vegas GP last weekend. The Brackley-based team’s feat means that now four different teams have secured a 1-2 finish in the same season. This has happened for the first time since 1960.

The FIA is set to implement a set of new regulations from 2026 onwards, which might witness the dominance of a single team yet again. But until the end of next season, Formula 1 is sure to showcase full-blown competitive battles between the top teams on the racing track.
