However, amidst all the rumors, Helmut Marko has revealed another exciting prospect for the RB seat, Ayumu Iwasa, a Japanese Motorsport driver who currently races in the Super Formula Championship for Team Mugen. Iwasa is in the pool for Red Bull Racing and has proven his worth in several racing formats, despite having very little experience in F1.

It's a luxury problem. We have another Honda driver besides Tsunoda who is finishing good races and that is Ayumu Iwasa. He has not won a race yet this year (in the Japanese Super Formula category) because he had two bad starts, but he is still third in the championship.
Helmut Marko told Motorsport.com.

RB currently faces a dilemma in the face of the availability of numerous talents who are capable of driving next year, with Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo trying their very best to show their worth. The decision as to who will drive for RB next year is a question that will be answered in the course of this season.

I think we still have a very, very fast car. And if you look at the average of the season so far, I think we have the fastest car. Otherwise you don't lead the championship. But I'm happy with where I am now. There is also so much investment in the engine. And I'm satisfied. We just have to keep working and trying to improve our package. That's all I'm thinking about at the moment.
Max Verstappen told the media including Racingnews365.

Red Bull have been less dominant than their superior best of last season, having struggled for pace against the likes of Ferrari and McLaren, who have been in good form this season. However, Max Verstappen has squished any rumors or thoughts of him moving to another team and has rested his belief and confidence in Red Bull for the near future.

The Milton-Keynes-based team is currently leading the constructor’s championship, with Verstappen at the top of the charts for the drivers’ championship. Nevertheless, the outfit faces immense competition from McLaren and the Maranello-based Ferrari and can possibly get overtaken by them in the title race. It is of utmost importance for Verstappen and Co. to perform at their level best in the coming races.
