British driver Lewis Hamilton suffered from an underwhelming season in 2023. Although the P3 finish in the championship standings was an improvement from the previous season, this finish wasn’t sufficient for the once-dominant world champion. However, scoring 234 points and a P3 finish helped Hamilton garner an impressive amount of money.

The second consecutive winless stint from Hamilton was talked about by the majority of the people on the grid this season. Regardless, the 38-year-old bagged another lucrative contract extension with Mercedes that will last him until 2025. Amidst these developments, Hamilton topped the F1 driver salary chart in 2023 with a second spot in terms of earnings following the reigning world champion Max Verstappen.
