Ex-F1 driver claims Lewis Hamilton can ‘drive like Max Verstappen’ at Ferrari and win an eighth ‘championship’

Lewis Hamilton the seven-time world champion, will rep the iconic Red of Ferrari from 2025 onwards. Several esteemed personalities have had their say on it and with the second half of the ongoing campaign just a week away, Ex-F1 driver Jacques Villeneuve has made a bold prediction.
As per the Canadian, Lewis Hamilton will have the chance at Ferrari to drive like the reigning world champion Max Verstappen, and potentially amass another F1 title. Securing another championship is one of the main reasons behind Hamilton’s move to the Maranello-based outfit.

Villeneuve has made it known that in his opinion, Hamilton will have the chance to edge his name in F1’s history forever at Ferrari. The Italian outfit last won a driver’s championship in 2007 courtesy of the heroics of Ex-F1 driver Kimi Raikkonen.
Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton needed an ‘excuse’ to go their ‘own way’
While Jacques Villeneuve has talked up Lewis Hamilton’s 2025 move to Ferrari, he has also given a bit of a controversial statement. He feels Mercedes and the Brit needed an excuse to end their long-standing partnership.

Hamilton has been making his trade with Mercedes since 2013. Toto Wolff and the Brit have always had nice things to say about each other and have several times admitted, that they want to end their partnership on a high this year.
Mercedes’s W15 is working very well and the 39-year-old has already amassed two race wins. During the remaining 10 races of the ongoing campaign, several eyes will be glued on Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes for varied reasons.
