Kyle Busch is often supported at racing venues with his wife, Samantha Busch, and their three-year-old daughter, Lennix Key. The little girl is extremely adorable as Mrs. Busch often shares heartwarming videos of their daughter. Lennix had previously asserted that her boyfriend was Chase Elliott. However, keeping in mind recent events, she has moved on from Elliott and found an adorable new boyfriend in Shane van Gisbergen.
Back in 2024, Samantha Busch shared a hilarious video of her and Kyle Busch‘s daughter, Lennix Key. She was questioned regarding who her boyfriend was. In a wholesome manner, the daughter replied that it was indeed Chase Elliott who also talked to her occasionally. However, during the Richmond weekend, Lennix was walking the pit road hastily, as if she wanted to meet someone.
Samantha Busch hilariously asked Lennix who she was, so eager to see. The daughter did not think twice and replied that she was indeed wanting to see SVG. Mrs. Busch hilariously reminded Lennix that she used to like Chase Elliott a few months ago. Regardless, she supported her daughter’s idea and asked her if she was going to inform the Kiwi about her new little crush on him.
Samantha Busch: Who are you gonna go see?

Lennix: SVG
Samantha: Wait I thought we liked Chase Elliott. It’s SVG this week? Okay alright, let’s go tell him. Are you gonna tell him he’s your new boyfriend?
Although Lennix Key boldly accepted her affection towards the self-proclaimed boyfriend in Shane van Gisbergen, she was still somewhat shy about talking to him. As such, Lennix initially pointed out that she would tell SVG that he was her new boyfriend. However, she thought for a few seconds and asked her mom, Samantha Busch, to tell the Kiwi about the whole boyfriend situation.
Yes….. No, you tell him.
Lennix Key said to Samantha Busch.
While the mom and daughter had a fun little trip around the Richmond pit lane, daddy Kyle Busch was unable to fare so well at the Cook Out 400. Busch was deemed a ‘wrecking ball’, following his massive 12-car pileup at the track. Hence, the father also might need some words of affirmation from his daughter, Lennix.

Being Lennix Key’s self-proclaimed boyfriend definitely has a lucky charm to it, as Shane van Gisbergen went on to achieve his best finish on an oval circuit in NASCAR, P14. As such, Gisbergen was already pumped by the positive results. After listening to what Samantha Busch had to say about Lennix’s innocent crush, the Kiwi shared a heartwarming moment with the daughter.

Samantha Busch told SVG that her daughter Lennix had dumped Chase Elliott, and the latter was her new boyfriend. As such, Mrs. Busch joked that Lennix had already told everyone about her new boyfriend to everyone, and the latter was in luck as he won the girl’s love. The Kiwi was delighted on hearing the wholesome news and shared a high-five and an endearing hug with the little girl.
She dumped Chase Elliott and SVG’s her new boyfriend. She told everybody so you won and now you’re her new boyfriend if you didn’t know.
Samantha Busch told SVG after Richmond race.
Shane van Gisbergen has emerged as one of the best this season, as he ties with the winningest driver this season in Denny Hamlin. Lennix has a great choice in SVG as she is more of a guardian angel and a lucky charm for the driver. Let’s hope the new boyfriend lasts longer than Chase Elliott. As for Elliott, losing Lennix was definitely not great for him, as he went on to suffer from his first and only DNF in the 2025 season.
