Lando Norris at the Hungarian GP FP2, performed exceptionally well from the start recording the fastest lap. Norris was 0.243 seconds clear of Max Verstappen which demonstrated McLaren pace is still improving than before. It seems the young Briton is ready to fight leader Verstappen again, after a horrific incident at the Austrian GP.

Lando Norris mentioned that the competition is very close and intense between them, Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull. He believed the race will be tough, as there will be eight car’s fighting for the pole position. The young Briton noted that car’s which were not fast enough, like Haas, at the beginning are also looking very fast. He expects a tough and exciting battle in the upcoming race. Norris reckoned that with so many strong teams and drivers, it will be challenging to secure the top spots.

Norris mentioned that Friday’s practice session went great for him. He managed to have a strong lap and achieve a good result. However, he reminded himself that tomorrow is a new day and there is still work to be done. The 26-year-old believed that the team needs to make further improvements to be more comfortable and competitive.
