Lando Norris emerged victorious at the Brazil GP after starting from pole position. The Briton achieved a clean sweep in Brazil and won both the Sprint race and the main race. Now, Norris is leading the championship by 24 points over his teammate, Oscar Piastri. Still, he was booed on the podium, and the fans were chanting Max Verstappen‘s infamous song. As such, the championship leader opened up on how he dealt with the constant noise despite his performance being so well.
Lando Norris has emerged as one of the better drivers on the grid, who is constantly pushing for success and is scoring some positive results. The Briton has won over seven races this year and is leading the title with a decent lead over Oscar Piastri. Still, he is facing a lot of troll behavior from the crowds present at multiple racing venues. Although he isn’t focusing on the criticism and tries to ignore it, he still has to deal with it eventually.
Notably, Lando Norris has outscored his teammate on all the past six Grand Prixs and has emerged as the clear favorite to win the title this year. Now, the Briton opened up on how he dealt with the constant noise and criticism from the outside and still performed well above the issues. Norris pointed out that he simply ignored everyone who talked ‘crap’ about him and focused on himself and McLaren.
Speaking on his dominant run recently, Lando Norris asserted that the team was doing a great job and providing him with a great car. Norris added that he was pushing very hard on and off the track, which ultimately contributed to his on-track success. As such, the Briton now only has to keep up with the winning pace and ensure that he does not commit any blunders in the final three races this year.
Just ignore everyone who talks crap about you! Just focus on yourself. McLaren is doing an amazing job, giving me a great car. We’re pushing hard every single weekend, and I’m pushing hard away from the track.
Lando Norris said, as reported by RacingNews365.
Lando Norris claims he ‘wasn’t the quickest’ at the Brazil GP
Lando Norris won the Brazil GP with ease and led a majority of the laps. He was around 10 seconds ahead of the trailing drivers in Kimi Antonelli and Max Verstappen. However, Norris was still disappointed by his outing at Interlagos as he believed that he wasn’t the quickest on track. Moreover, Verstappen’s meteoric rise from the pit lane to achieve a podium finish further fueled his disappointment.

Midway through the Brazil GP, Max Verstappen was leading the race and could’ve even won it if there were to be an unexpected safety car. Regardless, Lando Norris emerged victorious in the end and was able to run in front all day.
As such, Norris insisted that his victory was definitely rewarding, more so as it did not come easily. Still, he reflected that he wasn’t the quickest on the track on Sunday, but was still delighted to take home the race win and build on the championship lead further.
It’s rewarding. It doesn’t come easy, that’s for sure. And to be honest, I don’t think we were the quickest out there on track today, but glad to take home the win.
Lando Norris added
The 2025 season is near completion, but the driver’s title winner hasn’t been decided yet. The title battle is far from over, and Lando Norris isn’t going to win the title with utter ease.
The battle will likely drag on until the very last race as multiple drivers set their eyes on the prize. Regardless, the Briton’s life will be a bit easier on track as compared to the rivals, as he is currently enjoying a good enough lead in the title battle.
