Lando Norris managed a highly impressive start to the 2024 season amidst a positive performance from McLaren. Woking has been performing extremely close if not better to the dominant pace of Red Bull. Norris could even close in on Max Verstappen to contend for the world champion down the season. Hence, the Briton shared a hilarious deal between McLaren CEO Zak Brown and him.

Lando Norris scored his maiden victory in Formula 1 after a great drive at the Miami GP. Additionally, McLaren showcased a massive comeback from the 2023 season and has started to score well. Woking is continuously closing in on Ferrari in the constructors’ championship. Apart from this, Norris overtook Charles Leclerc in the drivers’ standings and is currently in the runner-up spot.

Amidst this, Norris pointed out a hilarious deal between Zak Brown and himself. The deal is that if the Briton could successfully amass the world championship, Brown has to buy him a car. The two have already agreed on the details of the deal and the car. Hence, the 24-year-old is looking extremely confident of his chances in the 2024 season.

Lando Norris has continued to perform extremely well since his maiden victory. Norris scored multiple podiums and even the pole position for the Spanish GP. Hence, the 24-year-old now doesn’t find satisfaction from just podium finishes during races. The Briton claimed that he was frustrated after the Spanish GP due to him being able to achieve more after scoring a race win.

I’ve only won one race, That is still amazing but everything becomes relative to what you know you are able to achieve and the reason I was frustrated was that small thing cost me.

Apart from this, the Englishman highlighted that he was hungrier for scoring the race wins and got disappointed when he couldn’t win. As a result, scoring victories was the priority for the 24-year-old while being in the pinnacle of motorsport. Additionally, the Briton noted that he dreamt of scoring a race win since he was a kid.

Being in this position you are just more hungry to win and therefore you are more disappointed when you don't. I think it's as simple as that. And a win in F1 means an incredible amount because it's what I've dreamt about since I was a kid.
