Ex Alpine team principal urges Lando Norris to adopt a more positive approach
Former Alpine team principal Otmar Szafnauer has given his thoughts on Lando Norris’ form this season. Szafnauer also offered some words of advice to the 24-year-old, who is currently chasing his maiden drivers’ title.
Otmar Szafnauer stated that the British driver is too harsh on himself for mistakes not within his control. Norris has been central to widespread criticism for his failure to hold the lead in races despite starting on pole five times this season.
Norris’ mistakes have cost the Woking-based team quite heavily on some occasions. However, one cannot argue with his contributions in helping the team lead the Constructors’ Championship for the first time since 2014.
