Lewis Hamilton‘s dream F1 film starring Brad Pitt is set to release on 27 June 2025. The movie will depict multiple teams and drivers alongside Damson Idris and Pitt racing on the grid. Amidst the final preparations of the film, Lando Norris made a snarky remark about the $300 million budget film.

The filming crew was present at a majority of the racing destinations in the 2024 season which meant that the drivers and teams would also be present in the film. Red Bull already had its fears of being painted as the villain in the film. Lando Norris confirmed that he would be present in the ‘bits’ of the film, sporting his McLaren attire.

Norris didn’t hesitate to claim that he wasn’t ‘Hollywood’ material despite making his cameo in the big-budget F1 film. The Briton insisted that he preferred to stay out of the cinema and focus on his racing career. Regardless, the 25-year-old pointed out that it was amazing to work alongside the filming crew and be present behind the scenes.

I think I’m in bits of it – I’m definitely not Hollywood. I definitely want to stay out of Hollywood, I just like driving my car and going home in a way, but it’s amazing to work alongside some of the guys last year, to be behind the scenes and see the cameras and all of this.

Lando Norris said on ITV’s This Morning.

So, yeah, been nice to be part of it – I’m definitely not an actor, definitely never will be, but I’ll always play those little scenes in the background, and you might see me here or there.

Lando Norris noted

The commencement of the 2025 season is right around the corner as the teams rush to reveal their chassis and livery. The coming season would be extremely interesting for Norris as he could finally have a shot at championship contention.
