Apart from this, being in the position to be able to win races against Red Bull was great according to Norris. However, the 24-year-old did accept that the team still had some work to do to further improve performance. Regardless, the team was in the right direction to end the season on a great note.

It’s a great place to be in, fighting for wins, and it makes me really excited for the rest of the season. We know we’ve got a little bit of work to do to ensure we’re winning more regularly, but we’re moving in the right direction.

McLaren is consistently scoring points while Ferrari and Red Bull are committing multiple mistakes which are costing them points. Hence, this could mean that there could be a great three-way battle towards the end of the 2024 season. Woking will continue to harbor in-season upgrades to continue to score such positive results in the season.
