McLaren driver Lando Norris took a surprising dig at the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton after finishing P2 at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Norris has now been on the podium seven times this season.
Lando Norris swapped positions with his teammate Oscar Piastri, who claimed his maiden career win in Budapest. Norris was sent team orders to give position back to Piastri, who led the race from the very start.

The 24-year-old appeared visibly frustrated with the decision and could not help but vent out to Lewis Hamilton, who finished P3. Hamilton complimented McLaren’s car and their performance after the race, which Norris failed to acknowledge in return.
Hamilton: Phew! You guys are fast. Norris: You had a fast car 7 years ago. Hamilton: 7 years ago? long time. Were you here seven years ago? Norris: You had a quick car, and now it’s us. Hamilton: I wasn't complaining, I was complimenting your car.Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton spoke in conversation post-race

Norris’s behavior appeared petty and unsportsmanlike to many, given the fact that Hamilton has always been a well-wisher of him. Regardless, Oscar Piastri was the happiest in the room after claiming a much-awaited win in F1.

I got a good start. And just good enough to get my nose in. It was strong racing but for and that really set me up for the rest of the race. I did a lot of things right but there's a lot that I can do better and improve.Oscar Piastri said after the Hungarian Grand Prix
The 23-year-old deemed his approach as a strong one during the start of the race, which helped him get an early advantage. However the Australian showed ample wisdom by reflecting on the mistakes that he made and is sure to improve upon those soon.
