All the teams are preparing for the livery reveal for the 2025 season in full-swing mode. The teams would unveil their liveries at the F1 75 event on the 18th of February, to celebrate the sport’s 75th anniversary. Amidst the final preparations, Lando Norris joked about meeting Max Verstappen and catching the same illness as the latter.
All ten teams alongside the 20 drivers would be present at the F1 75 event, with just seven minutes to showcase their challenger design. This meant that Lando Norris would meet his primary competitor Max Verstappen as well. Both drivers are certain to showcase a similar competition for the drivers’ title in the 2025 season.
Norris showcased a neutral reaction to being at the London O2 arena for the event. The 25-year-old joked that he would witness Max Verstappen’s final vacation plans ahead of the 2025 season. The Briton further quipped that Verstappen and he might catch a similar illness after visiting the same destination.
If I get told to be there, I guess I’ll be there, you know? I might see where Max is going on holiday and join him. We might end up having the same illness or something.

Lando Norris makes a ‘rather be at home’ remark on attending the F1 75 event
Formula 1 rarely conducts such massive events showcasing a lot of glamor and pizzazz. The drivers usually do not like the grandeur part of these events as they have often noted their resentment for the same. Lando Norris was no different, as he made a snarky remark about attending the F1 75 event.

Norris insisted that he would rather be at home relaxing than attend such events as Formula 1. The 25-year-old further asserted that he did not like such large-scale events due to not being a ‘public person’. The Briton believed that he was obliged to attend the event as it was his job and couldn’t complain much about it, especially due to FIA’s recent ban on criticizing the sport.
I don’t know the layout of events, but I’d rather be at home and relaxing and preparing for the season, that’s my side. I don’t like these types of things. I’m not a public person. I like to relax and do my things, but it’s also our job. So in the end of the day, we can’t complain.
Lando Norris noted
The 2025 season would be extremely exciting due to the seemingly increasing competition. The sport will prepare for one of the biggest seasons, especially due to its 75th anniversary. Hence, the coming season would be interesting for not only the teams and drivers but also for the fans.
