McLaren’s start to the 2024 season has been one of the greatest from the team in a long time. Woking is extremely close to achieving the championship spot in the standings amidst dominant performances. Additionally, even Lando Norris is inching closer to Max Verstappen for the driver’s title. Hence, Norris believed that McLaren was determined in the championship fight this season.

Lando Norris has continued to put forth impressive performances, courtesy of the upgraded MCL38. Hence, he claimed McLaren was ‘clearer than ever’ in achieving their goal. Additionally, the Briton put forth his unwavering belief in his team to keep working and improving on their form for the remainder of the season.

In addition to this, with both the championships up for grabs for McLaren, the team was dedicated. Norris claimed that this situation made the outfit more determined than ever to work on their form. Subsequently, the 24-year-old noted that he was proud and awaited the team’s result in Baku.

Lando Norris claimed it was ‘great’ to finish the European races with a podium

McLaren scored an astonishing 12 podiums over all the European races in the 2024 season. Hence, Lando Norris applauded this achievement and termed it great. However, he was still not satisfied as he looked over the performance and tried to find spots to further improve.

It was great to finish the final European race on the podium in our 12th consecutive Grand Prix. My engineers and I went over our performance in Monza, and found ways where we can do better, both from my side and as a team.

McLaren is currently just eight points away from Red Bull in the constructors championship. The ground-effect era hasn’t witnessed such peak performance and competition amidst the top teams. Hence, the 2024 season’s championship victory is still uncertain as multiple teams have set their eyes on the big prize.
