Ferrari was the team that suffered from the worst outing at the Brazil GP following their double DNF. Lewis Hamilton’s weekend began on a disappointing note, especially after starting the race all the way from P13.
Even Charles Leclerc was caught in an unfortunate accident and had to call it quits early. Now, Hamilton gets real on his entire 2025 season and labels it as a disappointment for Ferrari as a whole.
Lewis Hamilton is certainly one of the drivers who is suffering from an extremely difficult time in the 2025 season. The Briton has endured multiple disappointing outings in his debut year with Ferrari and has failed to achieve even a podium finish in the first 21 races.
To make matters worse, Hamilton collided with the rear of Franco Colapinto and suffered massive damage to the underbody of his car, ultimately ruining his race and causing a DNF in the race. As such, the seven-time champion will certainly hope to put the entire season behind him and focus on the upcoming year.
Lewis Hamilton spoke candidly not only about his Brazilian outing but his entire 2025 season with Ferrari. He declared that he had been living in a nightmare for quite some time now, and it was impossible to get out of it.
Despite consistent efforts to come out of the performance slump and trying to achieve notable results, he failed to do so and only tasted defeat race after race. The Briton was unable to achieve a turnaround in results and end his nightmare of a season with Maranello.
Further, Lewis Hamilton claimed that he suffered from a massive flip in his life from being on the high of driving for an iconic team like Ferrari and his current state now. The Briton insisted that he was suffering from nightmare results and his debut hadn’t been anything like he hoped for at all.
Hamilton acknowledged that his results were challenging and complicated. It certainly won’t matter even if the seven-time champion now emerges as a dominant force, especially after the 2025 season is nearing its completion.
This is a nightmare I’ve been living in for a while. The flip between the dream of driving for this amazing team, and then the nightmare results that we’ve had, the ups and downs. It’s challenging.

Lewis Hamilton aims to ‘recover’ at the upcoming Las Vegas GP
The Las Vegas GP is up next, and Lewis Hamilton doesn’t have the best track record on the third and final American race of the year. Moreover, Ferrari’s pace has remained insignificant this year as they have yet to win even a single race so far.

Maranello’s performance has deteriorated significantly, and they must find an out of the struggles as soon as possible. Amid Hamilton’s hopes to emerge as a winning force by the 2026 season, he has laid out his wishes to recover any performance possible at the upcoming Las Vegas race.
Lewis Hamilton declared that he would get up the next day and not lose motivation to practice despite the woeful results. He would not give up until the very end and kept trying hard for as long as it mattered.
Hamilton insisted that he really wanted to score some good points for the team, but sadly, he was unable to do so. Now, he hopes to come back as a better driver at the Las Vegas GP and recover from the losses he incurred in Brazil.
Tomorrow, I’ll get back up. I’ll keep training, I’ll keep working with the team. I really wanted to get them good points this weekend, but I’ll come back as hard and as strong as I can at the next race [in Las Vegas] and try to recover.
Lewis Hamilton noted.
Certainly, Hamilton is living in a nightmare that keeps on repeating itself, but only this time, he is aware of the outcome at the end. He has constantly failed to perform well and hasn’t been able to come out of it. For now, his focus will be to quickly finish the 2025 season and start the upcoming season afresh.
