Lewis Hamilton has started to perform much better mid-way through 2024 than the season’s beginning. The Briton scored his long-awaited victory at the British GP after a gap of 945 days. Additionally, the 39-year-old amassed a podium finish at the recent Hungarian GP. Hence, Hamilton reflected upon scoring an astonishing total of 200 career podiums after his outing in Hungary.

Mercedes’ has showcased a great upturn in performance as Lewis Hamilton overtakes his teammate George Russell and Sergio Perez in the drivers’ standing. Hamilton shared a heartfelt message about achieving 200 career podiums. Apart from this, safekeeping of the 200 trophies would be a mountainous task and thus, the Briton revealed what he did to store so many trophies together in the same place.

Lewis Hamilton joked that he would ‘rent’ a storage place just to keep these many trophies. Additionally, the Briton pointed out that there was more than enough storage in the place to store the trophies. However, with so much storage on rent, Hamilton joked that he might as well purchase the entire storage company.

Lewis Hamilton claimed he ‘broke the ice’ with Max Verstappen regarding the Hungarian GP antics

The Hungarian GP was nothing short of a surprise following the extreme drama during the race. Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton were in an enticing battle towards the end of the race for the third position. Verstappen was extremely impatient and tried to make a late move toward turn 1. However, the Dutchman collided with the Briton and put an end to his dreams of a podium finish.

Regardless, Hamilton reassured that he ‘broke ice’ with Verstappen after the incident and sorted the issue without further problems.

The 2024 season has started extremely close in terms of performance and competition. Mercedes has joined the battle to contend for finishing in the top spot. Hence, the remainder of the campaign will be extremely interesting to witness how Red Bull fares against the rivals ever-improving pace.
