Lewis Hamilton reveals emotional reason behind changing ‘Still I Rise’ quote

Lewis Hamilton is undoubtedly one of the greatest drivers in F1 history. The seven-time world champion had an inspiring quote on his helmet for years as he achieved incredible success in the sport. Now, the Briton has admitted that he made a change to this motto.
The 39-year-old is known for the quote, ‘Still I Rise,’ highlighted that he is always going to improve further. Lewis Hamilton even has a tattoo on his back. During a farewell media event for Petronas, Hamilton insisted that he still had the same tattoo.
However, the seven-time world champion changed the wording on his crash helmet to ‘Still We Rose.’ Lewis Hamilton claimed that hat he has been on a long journey with his fans and this was the right time to make this tweak. A rather emotional feeling considering the success he has had in Formula 1.
Still We Rise! Still We Rise! I have ‘Still I Rise’ on my back but I changed on the helmet to ‘Still We Rose’ because you guys have been on the road with me for so many years.

Lewis Hamilton ‘missing something’ over post-season test snub
Hamilton’s journey with Mercedes has come to an end. The seven-time world champion will be racing for Ferrari next season. The Silver Arrows rejected the chance for the Briton to test out the Ferrari SF24 after the Abu Dhabi GP. Lewis Hamilton admitted that he felt like he was missing something due to this snub. However, he was confident that he will be able to recover from this lack of running next season.

Am I missing out on something? For sure. It definitely delays the process and makes the start of the year harder, but we’ll do our best to recover from it.
