Lewis Hamilton was surprised by a lackluster performance by Ferrari in the Spanish Grand Prix despite bringing in major upgrades. Hamilton is set to make a move to the Maranello-based team next year and has been wary of the developments within the team.
Ferrari has been one of the better-performing teams this season scoring 270 points in ten races while being second in the constructors championship. But over the course of the last two races, the team has appeared fragile and significantly off the pace.
Lewis Hamilton has hence aired a visible air of confusion upon seeing the sudden decline of Ferrari while embracing the good performances by Mercedes as of late. The German outfit has scored two consecutive podiums after a difficult start and was well ahead of Ferrari in terms of pace during the Spanish Grand Prix.
I don't know what happened to the Ferraris in the last two races, but they are progressing anyway and in Barcelona they also brought a package of updates , I don't know why they had a 'dull' weekend.Lewis Hamilton via FormulaPasssion.it

Ferrari will now look to conduct a proper assessment of their issues as they face tough competition from the likes of Mercedes and McLaren who are catching up to the Reds. The upcoming race in Austria will test McLaren, Mercedes, and Ferrari who look to score points and podiums around the exhilarating Red Bull Ring.
Carlos Sainz reveals Ferrari has been struggling with high-speed corners
Ferrari driver, Carlos Sainz revealed that the team’s SF-24 faced major issues around high-speed corners in Barcelona, which has greatly affected their lap times. The Fred Vasseur-led outfit managed to finish P5 and P6 after a lackluster performance in Spain.
We've been struggling all weekend with the high-speed corners. We still have this phenomenon, bouncing phenomenon, that gives us a very tough time in the high-speed corners. Probably this is also killing a bit the tyre for the third sector. I don't know.Carlos Sainz via Motorsport
Carlos Sainz exclaimed that Ferrari had the problem of bouncing around the high-speed corners of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which caused the car to slow down in certain sectors. Sainz also elaborated that McLaren and Red Bull did not face the same problem because they could find more time around the high-speed circuit.
Ferrari heads into the Austrian Grand Prix after amassing only 18 points since the Monaco event, which has caused their title hopes to take a major hit. But, despite this, the Maranello-based team believes that they still have hope in the championship if they perform to their very best going forward.
