The conflict between Israel and Palestine has been going on since the early 19th and 20th centuries, with the development of political Zionism and the arrival of Zionist settlers in Palestine. As of now, Israeli shelling and airstrikes have killed at least 37 people, most of them sheltering in tents, outside the southern Gaza city of Rafah.
Lewis Hamilton spoke in support and sympathy for the Palestinians after a ruthless attack by Israel on the camps of Rafah near Gaza. The strike killed several people including many children and women, which enraged the British motorsport driver.
Enough is enough. We cannot continue to watch this tragedy unfold and not speak up. The trauma and terror so many, but particularly innocent children, are experiencing is horrifying. This must stop - for the children, for their families, and for their lives.Lewis Hamilton shared via his Instagram account.

Toto Wolff explains key error in Lewis Hamilton call during Monaco GP
Mercedes Team Principal, Toto Wolff has shed light on the call by Mercedes pit wall for Hamilton during the Monaco Grand Prix. The Brit was unsuccessful in undercutting Max Verstappen on an out-lap after pitting for fresher tires.
It was a miscommunication first between us on the pit wall that we got that wrong. It should have been an 'out-lap critical [message, we are] trying to undercut', but then there was a debate about whether any out-lap would be enough from the new tyre. So the message he got was at best confusing, but probably wrong.Toto Wolff told the media including RacingNews365.
Lewis Hamilton was not told appropriately about the criticality of the out lap after he pitted for fresher tires on Lap 51 of the Monaco Grand Prix. The miscommunication, therefore, led to the driver not being able to grab the opportunity to undercut Verstappen.
Lewis Hamilton currently stands ninth in the drivers’ championship and has failed to score a single podium this season. Mercedes has also been very weak in terms of performance and will look to improve on their strategies and race pace to win races and score more points this season.
