Lewis Hamilton claims it’s ‘incredible’ to have three ‘Brits’ lockout front row in British GP
George Russell, Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris have scored the top three qualifying spots for the British GP.

Lewis Hamilton has showcased an incredible comeback in pace and performance compared to the season start. Hamilton is finally looking hopeful of scoring impressive results in the disappointing 2024 season. The Briton has qualified in Q2 for the British GP. Additionally, the top three qualifying spots are occupied by the three Brits, George Russell, Hamilton, and Lando Norris respectively.
Lewis Hamilton was extremely pleased after scoring a front-row start for the British GP. The Briton thanked the ‘incredible crowd’ in and around the Silverstone circuit. Additionally, the 39-year-old pointed out that the three Brits on top were a great occurrence for the nation and the sport.

Apart from this, Hamilton didn’t miss out on congratulating his teammate George Russell on the great results. The 39-year-old commended the ‘great job’ from Russell in scoring the pole position. Subsequently, the Briton pointed out that the W15 challenger felt ‘fantastic’ while racing out on the track. Everyone in the garage did a great job building the chassis to score such a great result.

Lewis Hamilton claims Mercedes ‘didn’t expect’ a front-row start at the British GP
Mercedes has been improving in performance as compared to the season start. Russell even scored a win in his latest outing in Austria. However, the win wasn’t under the best circumstances as multiple people believed it was due to the race leader’s collision. Regardless, the team is continuously improving on pace and performance.
Hamilton reckoned that Mercedes wasn’t expecting such a great result heading into the British GP. Despite this, the team has scored extremely well in the qualifying and all eyes will be set on the local heroes. Additionally, the 39-year-old believed that a front-row start was ‘huge’ for Mercedes’ performance arc in the season.

McLaren has started to come extremely close to toppling Red Bull from the lead of the constructors’ championship. Additionally, Mercedes’ improving performance will enable them to gain control over their position. As a result, the end of the season is looking promising for a great battle for the championship victory.
