Lewis Hamilton had high ambitions for the Las Vegas GP this weekend. The 39-year-old hopes to have a good final stint with Mercedes before moving to Ferrari next year. Though, Hamilton has found himself on the back foot after a disappointing Qualifying.

The seven-time world champion will start the Las Vegas GP from tenth place. Lewis Hamilton simply lacked the pace on his final run. Nevertheless, the Mercedes driver was seemingly unbothered by this setback. Rather, the Briton highlighted that the weekend has been positive for the team.

It is what it is. It’s been a good weekend so far.

Moreover, Lewis Hamilton asserted that he would do his best on Sunday. The 39-year-old even congratulated teammate George Russell for taking pole position. Hamilton seemed to be happy with the conditions of the circuit. Team boss Toto Wolff has even revealed the Briton’s target for the race.

So I’ll give it my best shot tomorrow and congrats to George. Conditions are great. Nice and cool. It’s been nice all weekend.

The Briton even recalled the action-packed race fans witnessed in ‘Sin City’ last year.
