Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has spoken on the current accusations regarding the never-ending bias of the British media. Renowned engineer Adrian Newey made certain statements regarding the same a couple of days back.

The British media has been accused by many of being partial to their countrymen for a long time in Formula 1. Their actions have often appeared as demeaning to the other racers and personalities who wish for an unbiased interpretation of their verdicts.

Max Verstappen has since agreed with Adrian Newey‘s views about the bias within the English media. Newey earlier claimed that the Dutchman had been aimlessly targeted and framed as the bad guy by the British media.

Absolutely. I agree 100%. You will always defend your countryman instead of the other. But you also try to keep it as neutral as possible and some countries go overboard with it. In the end, they can say and shout whatever they want. It doesn’t matter to me.

Verstappen has, however, claimed not to be overly concerned with the approach of the British media. He will now intend to shut down the noise and focus solely on performing in the upcoming race in Singapore.

Red Bull now stands second in the Constructors’ Championship having lost the lead to McLaren during the Azerbaijan GP. While the chances appear slim, they will try their best to notch more wins and podiums here on to ensure they do not lose out no the title this season.
