The recent Mexican GP ignited a heated debate between two of Formula 1’s most prominent drivers, Max Verstappen and Lando Norris. The pair engaged in fiery exchanges, with the latter accusing the former of aggressive driving tactics.
Norris deemed it dangerous and reckless, urging the three-time world champion to change his driving style. Max Verstappen responded to Lando Norris‘ comments ahead of the Brazilian GP sprint race.
Verstappen stated that he is well aware of his capabilities and that he doesn’t need to change anything.
Three time World Champion. I don’t have to change anything. But why would I change my driving style, I know very well what I can’t or can do or am allowed to do, sometimes you win sometimes you loose.

The Brazilian GP sprint race had a relatively positive outcome for Max Verstappen, who was ‘pretty impressed’ with his performance. The Red Bull driver was able to show a good speed which they lacked in the recent races.
A five-second penalty dropped him one place to P4. Despite this, team principal Christian Horner stated that the Dutchman was pumped about the team regaining its lost speed.

With this increase in speed, it will be easier for Verstappen to challenge Lando Norris on the track. However, he has received a grid penalty due to an engine change, which he needs to overcome to challenge the Briton at the front.
