Max Verstappen ‘doesn’t care’ about the GOAT status

Multiple individuals labeled Max Verstappen as the GOAT after he won four consecutive championships. However, the Dutchman reckoned that he didn’t care about these statuses. The reason for this was that the 27-year-old was happy with what he was doing and believed that this was a debate with different opinions. Verstappen concluded that he just wanted to have fun while winning as much as possible.

I don’t care, to be honest. I’m very happy with what I’m doing. At the end of the day, that’s a debate with a lot of different opinions, so for me, that doesn’t matter. I just want to have fun and win as much as I can.

Max Verstappen told Marca.

Red Bull will have to work hard on their form to ensure a better start to the 2025 season for Verstappen. The 27-year-old might face a dire situation if Milton Keynes is unable to contend for race wins. Moreover, the team is likely going under massive personnel change and must ensure stability for the Dutchman in terms of performance.
