Max Verstappen has faced severe issues with the RB20 challenger at the Hungarian GP. Verstappen has continued to attempt his best at having a shot at a podium finish for the race. However, the chassis wasn’t responding well as the Dutchman was battling with Lewis Hamilton to achieve the third position in the race.
Max Verstappen had continued to be vocal about his discontent with the disappointing RB20 performance. Regardless, Verstappen noted that he didn’t back down from fighting for the victory at the Hungarian GP. As a result, fans were expecting a top-notch performance from Red Bull and a potential contention for the Hungarian race victory.
Verstappen was fighting with Lewis Hamilton for the third position by the 30th lap of the race. The Dutchman came extremely close to overtaking the Briton and eventually gained the position. However, the 26-year-old immediately suffered from understeering over the third turn and went too wide on the turn. As a result, the reigning world champion took to the team radio to showcase his discontent with the RB20 setup.

Max Verstappen made a sarcastic remark over getting undercut at Hungarian GP
The rival teams have continued to attempt to overtake Max Verstappen and achieve the podium finish. Mercedes and Ferrari tried to undercut Verstappen mid-way through the Hungarian GP. Eventually, Mercedes successfully undercut the reigning world champion and gained a position. As a result, the Dutchman was extremely displeased with this situation.
Verstappen made a sarcastic remark after being undercut so easily and pointed out that the team ruined his race.

Red Bull is still continuing to overturn the pecking order and help Verstappen achieve the race victory. The Dutchman has showcased great racing mettle over the weekend despite the struggles. The 26-year-old will still lead the drivers’ championship despite McLaren’s victory at the Hungarian weekend.
