Max Verstappen‘s collision with Lando Norris made the former receive a lot of hate. Multiple people blamed Verstappen for the crash and his extremely hard racing style. However, the 26-year-old was confident in his skills and held an opposite stance to these claims. The Dutchman even refused to take the blame for the incident as he has further responded to criticism from the media.

Max Verstappen didn’t think twice about the incident and refused to take any blame for the crash. The Dutchman was confident in his racing and noted that Lando Norris should be ready to race hard. Regardless, Verstappen was the center of a lot of media hate for the incident and further ruining Norris’ race.

Upon this, Max Verstappen reckoned that he “didn’t give a s**t” over the untoward backlash. Additionally, the 26-year-old claimed that he went home after the crash and continued living his life. However, the reigning world champion did care about one thing despite having a cold attitude. Verstappen was concerned about his friendship with Norris after the collision at the Austrian GP as the two are great friends.

However, to become a top driver, a driver needs more than good racing skills. One has to try and push the edge of the rules and find a ‘grey area’. This is the key to racing in Formula 1 that would help any driver to achieve the top spot. Hence, Lando Norris would take some learnings from the reigning world champion moving ahead in the sport.

Verstappen will continue to race hard over the circuits as the sport heads onto the British GP. The home crowd will have great expectations from Lando Norris to potentially score the race win. Hence, the race would be highly enticing due to Verstappen’s in-form performance and Norris’ desperate need to continue the list of victories in the 2024 season.
