Max Verstappen declares ‘no regrets’ over Mexican GP clash with Lando Norris
Max Verstappen reckoned that he had no regrets over his antics at the Mexican GP against Lando Norris despite facing 20-second penalty.

Max Verstappen put forth some highly interesting performances in the 2024 season despite having a struggling chassis. The Dutchman pushed extra hard on some races which caused an untoward collision with the drivers. The Mexican GP was one such race as Verstappen clashed head with Lando Norris on the track and received a major penalty.
Regardless, the 27-year-old claimed that he had ‘no regrets’ over the collision or the aftermath. Lando Norris and Max Verstappen were the drivers’ title contenders towards the end of the season. As a result, Verstappen was pushing extra hard to ensure his position was maintained. During the Mexican GP, the Dutchman pushed Norris outside the track which rewarded him with a 20-second penalty.
Regardless of the aftermath, Verstappen reckoned that he had no regrets about his action at the Mexican GP especially after scoring points. The 27-year-old noted that he would do everything to get the best results for a championship. The Dutchman pointed out that sometimes he had to be on the line or over it and calculate the risk which not everyone was able to do while racing on the track.

Sometimes you’ll have to be on the line, over the line. You have to calculate that, and not everyone gets that or has that mentality.

Max Verstappen ready to ‘cross a line’ to score better results
Max Verstappen is infamous for his extremely hard-racing attitude and killer mindset while on the track. Speaking upon the antics, Verstappen reckoned that he would get as much as possible out of a race in terms of performance. Moreover, the Dutchman highlighted that sometimes it was necessary to cross the line which he would gladly do without any second thoughts as he also won four consecutive championships in this manner.
I will always get the most out of it, and sometimes you have to cross a line, and I’ll do that.

Verstappen won the drivers’ championship in the 2024 season despite massive struggles in pace. Red Bull will have to work hard on their chassis and ensure a better start to the 2025 season. The Dutchman can possibly continue his championship-winning streak and break some more records in the coming season.
