Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton collided into each other during the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday. Verstappen and Hamilton battled strongly for the final podium spot during the closing stages of the 70-lap race.
Max Verstappen has always had an aggressive approach to racing, which has piled misery on him on many occasions. One such incident unfolded during the race in Budapest, which saw Verstappen crash into Lewis Hamilton, thereby damaging his RB20.
The 26-year-old has defended his move, claiming it to be legitimate despite the investigation by the stewards. Verstappen’s on-track tussle with Hamilton dates back to 2021, in which they regularly went against each other in chasing the win.

The three-time world champion’s move has been criticized, with many deeming it unfair and aggressive. Max Verstappen finished the race in P5 and now awaits a decision from the FIA, which will investigate the necessity of a penalty for him.

Red Bull’s lackluster run at the Hungaroring has helped second-placed McLaren close their championship gap to 51 points. The Milton-Keynes outfit will now call for immediate measures in order to win the upcoming race at Spa.
