At the 2021 British GP Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton were involved in a high impact crash. The crash between them took place at the Copse corner of the Silverstone circuit. Max Verstappen revealed that this has affected his vision while racing.

Max Verstappen mentioned ever since the crash he faced with Lewis Hamilton at Silverstone he’s struggling with visibility issues. The Dutchman stated these issues are particularly problematic on tracks with hills and valleys or those with many advertising boards. The uneven surfaces and the visual distractions from the boards make it harder for him to see clearly while driving.

Since my Silverstone crash, I've struggled with visibility problems, especially on undulating circuits or those with lots of advertising boards on the side of the track.

Verstappen claimed in the 2021 US GP, he was not just fighting with Hamilton, but he was also dealing with blurry vision. These visual distractions made it even harder for the Dutchman to focus and race at his best. This felt like he was battling not just his opponent, but also the blurred images he kept seeing.
