Formula 1 heads to the final round of the 2024 season this weekend in Abu Dhabi. Max Verstappen has already bagged the world title. Nevertheless, the four-time world champion is happy to take a look back at his fond memories at Yas Marina.

Max Verstappen insisted that the Abu Dhabi GP always brings back some good memories. The Dutch driver won his maiden title in Yas Marina after defeating Lewis Hamilton in the controversial 2021 title decider.

We are on to the final race of the season and Abu Dhabi always brings back good memories.

Moreover, the 27-year-old highlighted that it has been a long and exhausting campaign this year. Max Verstappen reckoned that the entire grid was ready to spend time with friends and family over the winter break after the end of this weekend. Though, personnel back at the factories will be working extensively on next year’s cars.

The reigning world champion has won nine races in 2024. However, Verstappen remains hungry as ever to take yet another victory. The Dutch driver emphasized that it would be the perfect chance for Red Bull to end the campaign with his tenth race win of the year at Abu Dhabi. Though, Milton Keynes has already lost the Constructors’ title.
