The power couple of Formula 1 Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet have been together pretty much since 2021. This year’s campaign is set to come to a close with the Abu Dhabi GP. Ahead of the event, Verstappen has announced that his girlfriend Piquet is pregnant.
Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet already have Penelope from the latter’s previous relationship with the Ex-F1 driver Daniil Kvyat. Verstappen and Piquet have drawn close together over the years and that has ultimately led to the Brazilian Supermodel carrying the child of the Dutchman.
Verstappen has recently shared the wholesome news via his Instagram handle.

The four-time world champion is over the moon about the pregnancy of Piquet. The duo has often been spotted in the F1 paddock together as Piquet is seen attending quite a few Grand Prix events during the course of a season. This year, they even shared a kiss at the United States Grand Prix.

While Max Verstappen is immensely pleased with the recent happening in his personal life, he has not been having a smooth ride in F1 for varied reasons. Currently, his verbal tussle with Mercedes’ George Russell is not allowing him to be at ease.
Since landing in Abu Dhabi, both drivers have been bombarded with questions. Amidst all this, Lando Norris has also come out to give his take. He had a conversation with F1 pundit Craig Slater and the latter revealed what the McLaren driver said.
He said, Max doesn’t lie. Max tells the truth and maybe some people can’t put up with the truth. He added that he didn’t have a problem with George Russell either. He got on well with both of them.

Verstappen has a lot going on during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend. From seeing the love pouring toward him and his family from all over the world to dealing with his saga with Russell, he has a lot on his plate.
The 27-year-old has already amassed the 2024 Formula 1 world championship. Keeping in view the news of Piquet’s pregnancy, the Dutchman will want to mark the occasion by amassing a Grand Prix win in Abu Dhabi. From FP1 onwards, quite a few eyes will be glued on him.
