Max Verstappen did his ‘own race’ at US GP
Max Verstappen failed to take the lead of the US GP at the start with Charles Leclerc‘s impressive move at Turn 1. The three-time world champion highlighted that Leclerc was simply too fast for his Red Bull. As such, Verstappen was focused on his own race in Austin as he tried to increase his points lead to Lando Norris.
The Dutch driver now has a points gap of 57 to Norris with five races to go. Things seem to be in favor of the reigning world champion as he aims to clinch his fourth title in a row. However, it remains to be seen if Max Verstappen can continue this momentum for the coming weeks.
