Lando Norris has started to perform extremely well in the 2024 season after McLaren’s major pace improvement. Red Bull has failed to follow up on Woking’s performance. Max Verstappen is still leading the drivers’ standings with Norris closely following in second. Verstappen was full of praise for the Briton as he believed that the latter would only get better with time.

Max Verstappen has faced competition for the world championship for the first time in the ground-effect era. Lando Norris is just 78 points behind the reigning world champion in the standings. As a result, Verstappen believed that this was common in Formula 1. Subsequently, the Dutchman reckoned that the 24-year-old would only get better with passing time.

Apart from this, Verstappen recalled his experience fighting for the championship. The Dutchman has contended for the title since 2021. As a result, Verstappen reckoned that he was fighting for championships for longer than Norris. This was the reason that the Briton would have a hard time overcoming the reigning world champion.
