Max Verstappen and Lando Norris were in a lighthearted mood during preseason testing as they joked about fighting each other in a pub.

Max Verstappen and Lando Norris share a close bond outside the F1 paddock. Their friendship came under radar last year after the two fought one another for the world title. Now, both drivers took a hilarious dig at each other over such speculation.

The reigning world champion joked that his relationship with Lando Norris had deteriorated immensely since last season. So much so, that they didn’t get along at all. On the other hand, Norris claimed that the two had a fight in a local pub recently.

Max Verstappen laughed and then added to the Briton’s comments. The Red Bull star insisted that they had to be escorted out by security officials at the pub. He reckoned that usually when he is in a fight, the other person is left injured, but Lando Norris did not seem to be in a bad state.

The McLaren driver gave a serious response. He claimed that the two still get along with each other, despite the controversies last season. Lando Norris insisted that he and Verstappen share immense respect for one another. The two drivers look forward to battling it out for the 2025 world title after Max Verstappen defeated Norris in 2024.

While the Red Bull star has already proved himself as an all-time great with four titles in a row, Lando Norris still has more to achieve.
