The Hungarian GP was extremely exciting due to the enticing clash between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. Both capable drivers collided with one another towards the end of the race. However, Hamilton saved his place and finished P3 overall with Verstappen dropping down to P5. Upon this, the Briton called out the Dutchman to act like a world champion, to which, the 26-year-old had a stern response.

Max Verstappen was extremely agitated at the Hungarian GP due to multiple reasons. However, the Dutchman was not mincing words while responding to Lewis Hamilton‘s untoward comments. The reigning world champion questioned the Brits if he knew how to act like a champion. Regardless, Verstappen let the issue go and claimed everyone could have their own opinion.

Do you know how it is like [to act like a World Champion]? Everyone can have their opinion. That's all fine, but I can't do anything with that.

Additionally, Verstappen noted that the entire fuss wasn’t his problem either. Subsequently, he claimed that Hamilton didn’t need to dwell on the matter for any longer than required. According to the Dutchman, the issues were resolved and called for everyone to move on with their lives.

Max Verstappen asked people complaining about his sim-racing to ‘fu*k off’

Max Verstappen’s woes in Budapest were linked to him staying up late at night to participate in sim racing. Regardless, the Dutchman had no regrets over his decision and believed he was in the right. Apart from this, the 26-year-old was partaking in sim racing in wet conditions of the Spa-Francorchamps which helped him score a P1 lap time in Qualifying.

Verstappen pointed out that he drove a lot in rain in sim racing and claimed it wasn’t bad after all. Subsequently, he called out the people who were ‘crying’ over this matter and asked them to ‘f**k off.’

Last week I drove a lot in the rain on the sim in Spa, so yeah, sim-racing is not that bad after all, eventhough a lot of people are crying about it, they can all f-ck off
Max Verstappen said in an interview.

Red Bull has put forth highly impressive results at the Belgian GP qualifying. Hence, now it’s all up to the two drivers to score the best results possible. Milton Keynes needs to continue to score massive points to fend off against McLaren’s improving pace.
