Max Verstappen‘s Mexican GP was a rollercoaster of emotions, marked by two controversial penalties impacting his race. Despite this setback and everyone being against him for the incident, the Dutchman refused to change his driving style.
Determined to win, he focused on his race, refusing to complain about the penalties and showcasing his relentless commitment. Max Verstappen‘s first penalty at the Mexican Grand Prix came from an incident with Lando Norris at Turn 4.
Verstappen later voiced his concerns, arguing that he wasn’t ahead at the apex and that Norris had built significant speed before the incident, making it tough for him to avoid contact. He felt the first penalty was excessive, noting the inconsistency in steward decisions.
Despite all the drama, Verstappen stood firm, criticizing the bias he believes the FIA shows against him. FIA steward Johnny Herbert voiced his opinion on the Red Bull driver’s driving style and mentality, which he believed was a heavy accusation.

Max Verstappen asserts it was a positive sprint race despite receiving a penalty
Max Verstappen was penalized during the sprint race in Brazil due to virtual safety car infringement. Despite dropping to P4, he noted that it was a positive run as the car didn’t lack pace, compared to the last few races.
Verstappen will start among the back runners of the grid for the Brazilian GP due to an engine change. He and his teammate Sergio Perez got knocked out in Q2, making his task all the more difficult.
