While the F1 world was recently shocked by the amazing race in Brazil, the podium-sitters got down to find out their common interests. Moreover, Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly‘s girlfriends have Portuguese as their native language, and the drivers joked about how they need to take lessons in Portuguese together to better communicate with their girlfriends.
Kelly Piquet and Max Verstappen started dating in 2021 and have been the couple to look up to in F1. On the other hand, Pierre Gasly and Kika Gomes‘ relationship is relatively new as the pair went official last year. Despite this, both couples have been witnessed at multiple races in support of their partners, with Piquet traveling more often to the Grand Prix with the Dutchman as witnessed at the Brazilian GP.
Apart from this, Gomes and Piquet have Portuguese as one of their native languages. This was subsequently discussed in the post-race press conference by Verstappen and Gasly, who looked over the prospect of learning Portuguese together for their girlfriends.

Moreover, if the duo decides to take up language lessons, it could be a great birthday gift for their partners who would celebrate their birthdays in the coming months. Thus, being the icing on top, apart from the huge bash that the drivers would throw for them.
Sergio Perez joined in to congratulate Max Verstappen on his victory in Brazil
On the racing side of things, the Dutchman had a lovely race in Brazil. He made multiple daring moves and impressively ended his winless streak. Subsequently, his victory garnered messages of support from various other drivers, including his teammate Sergio Perez, who joined in to congratulate Verstappen on the massive feat.
Though Perez finished an underwhelming P11, he glanced over his result and praised the reigning champion on his stupendous drive.

However, Perez’s congratulatory messages would not be doing any good to Red Bull in the championship if he stays on the same pace. But the setting is starkly different on the driver’s title side.
With the win in Brazil under his belt, Verstappen extended his lead in the championship to 62 points. Thus making Lando Norris‘s dreams of winning the coveted driver’s title crumble with only three races remaining.
