Max Verstappen confesses Red Bull ‘not quick enough’ after losing Dutch GP to Lando Norris
Max Verstappen put forth his resentment from losing the Dutch GP in front of the home crowd after being dominated by McLaren.

Max Verstappen attempted his level best to score the race victory in front of the home fans at the Dutch GP. However, Red Bull’s desperately struggling pace caught the 26-year-old off-guard as he lost out on the win. Verstappen couldn’t manage to overcome Lando Norris driving around with McLaren’s highly dominant pace. Hence, the Dutchman has laid out his thoughts regarding losing the victory on home soil.
Max Verstappen didn’t hesitate to point out the struggles faced by Red Bull throughout the 2024 season. The Dutchman couldn’t maintain the lead on Lando Norris after losing the position due to chassis performance. As a result, the 26-year-old only managed a P2 finish in front of the home crowd.
Hence, Verstappen reckoned that he tried to do better in front of the home crowd. However, despite a ‘good start’ he couldn’t bring home the victory. Additionally, the reigning world champion noted that the RB20 just wasn’t quick enough and declined any chances of victory for him.

Max Verstappen labeled the Dutch GP as ‘difficult’ despite finishing in P2
McLaren’s Lando Norris has further closed in on Max Verstappen in the championship standings. As a result, Red Bull must do something immediately to facilitate Verstappen to fend off against the rivals. After losing the race victory in front of the home crowd, the Dutchman labeled the race ‘difficult’ despite scoring great points with a P2 finish.

Red Bull will have to continue to upgrade the chassis to hold onto the constructors’ championship. The 2024 season has put forth a surprising situation for Milton Keynes after they dominated a majority of the ground-effect era. Verstappen is continuously losing serious ground after the issues faced during races this year.
