In lap 64 of the Austrian GP, Max Verstappen led Lando Norris as they went wheel to wheel. Norris attempted to overtake Verstappen by going up the inside, resulting in a collision with the Red Bull driver. Max Verstappen claims it was not his fault for Norris’s retirement from the race.

Max Verstappen commented on the collision with Lando Norris, he described it as an unfortunate incident. Verstappen stressed the importance of objectively reviewing the incident, noting the necessity for a careful analysis of the footage afterward. He pointed out that the collision had occurred at an awkward angle, resulting in both drivers getting punctures. Verstappen said its better to watch the video to figure out exactly what went wrong before making any decisions.

It's unfortunate to see that happening, it's simple as that. Of course i'll look back at it, at the moment it's easy to say stuff, I think it's better to go back to the footage and see what exactly went wrong because it was at an awkward angle that both of us got a punture.

The Dutchman emphasized the importance of waiting until emotions had settled for both parties. This would allow everyone to gain a clearer perspective on the situation before discussing it further.

Max Verstappen was more frustrated than usual about how the race went and the mistakes his team made. He emphasized how unusual these mistakes were, which added to his disappointment. Verstappen experienced major disappointment as he failed to secure a win at Red Bull’s home race in Austria, where the majority of fans supported Red Bull.

Besides that I’m more annoyed about the performance and the mistakes we made that we normally don’t.
