For the first time, Formula 1 has enjoyed an unofficial one-month autumn break mid-season. During this downtime, teams and drivers have spent quality time with their loved ones. Many took the opportunity to go on vacation, recharging before the season resumes.
With the race in Austin approaching, Max Verstappen has shared his vacation plans for the next break. He said he looks forward to some well-deserved relaxation after the season wraps up. With Formula 1 set to race in the USA for a while, many drivers and their loved ones enjoy traveling to familiar locations and taking road trips around the country.
However, Max Verstappen revealed that he’s already explored the U.S., having visited Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Death Valley. As a result, he’s not keen on roaming around and is instead excited about the possibility of visiting Australia, where he hopes to embark on a memorable road trip.
I have already done a round trip in the US, so I would then do a road trip through Australia, “I did LA, Vegas. Vegas through Death Valley. I went to see the big trees at Sequoia. Went to San Francisco, then went back through the coast and stopped at Carmel, and back to LA with some stops. It was nice, and it was in an SUV. Stopped in local hotels along the way.
