Dutch racing driver claims Max Verstappen making Red Bull ‘wake up’ after Italian GP
The Italian GP highlighted major shortcomings of the RB20. Max Verstappen simply lacked the pace to compete for victory. The three-time world champion made it clear that both titles were no longer realistic for Milton Keynes this season. Now, Dutch racing driver Jeroen Bleekemolen has claimed that Verstappen is trying to wake everyone up at Red Bull over the team’s disappointing state.

Look, that Max says, this is of course also a logical calculation and reasoning, so I don’t think that’s strange. And I think it’s also a sign from him to wake everyone up guys, this is not going well.Jeroen Bleekemolen told Motorsport.com
Certainly, Max Verstappen and Red Bull have a lot of stuff to do to get back on track after six winless races. The Austrian team has recognized a fundamental flaw with the RB20 which it needs to fix as soon as possible to have a chance at defending both titles this year. Fans would be looking forward to seeing how things pan out for the reigning world champions in Baku for the next race.
